Le mi-point (presque) / The mid-point (almost)

Alors, aujourd'hui c'est le 11 mars (joyeux anniversaire Stefanie!), je vais quitter l'Europe vers le 20 juillet, et le mi-point de mon séjour ici approche rapidement.  Jusqu'ici tout va bien, Corey reste ici jusqu'à dimanche le 13 et après il ne reste que 5,5 semaines d'école, presque un mois d'examens, et un moi d'un stage à la côte méditerranée, deux semaines en Allemagne pour voir ma soeur et après, c'est fini.
Vraiment je ne peux pas croire qu'il ne reste que 5,5 semaines d'école...alors vraiment 7,5 mais il y a 2 semaines de vacances en avril (qui commencent le 9 et finissent le 26).  J'avais fini 5 sur 7 livres, je vais commencer le dernier livre obligatoire aujourd'hui et le septième (facultatif) après.  (Si vous n'avez pas déjà lu "En attendant Godot" je vous le suggère, c'est incroyablement marrant.)
Je me suis passé un très bon weekend à Londres avec des amis sauf que mon appareil photo est mort, mais tant pis j'ai encore mes souvenirs.  La ville était belle, mais bof, pas Paris!
Je crois que je vais être une personne un peu différente quand je retourne chez moi...l'idée d'être dans un pays où les gens ne parlent que l'anglais ne me plait pas du tout.  Le seule problème c'est que ma famille me manque et je n'ai qu'un visa/carte de séjour pendant 6 mois.
Concernant la carte de séjour...quel processus!  Vachement bizarre ce truc-là.  Je suis arrivé à 8h05 pour une réunion à 8h30, déjà un queue assez longue, ensuite j'ai fait plusieurs queues, j'ai attendu tout le monde (incluant Godot!) et maintenant j'ai un petit truc jaune (la carte) et un radio.  Mais, j'aime que c'est différent que chez moi!  (C'est-à-dire, pour aller chez le médecin!)

Well, today's the 11th (of March) (happy birthday Stefanie!), I'm going to leave Europe around the 20th of July, and the mid point of my trip is approaching rapidly.  So far so good, Corey's staying here until sunday the 13th and after there's only 5 and a half weeks of school, about a month of exams, and a month of an internship on the Mediterranean, two weeks in Germany to see my sister, and after, it's over.
Truly I cannot believe that there's only 5.5 weeks left of school...well, really 7,5 but there's 2 weeks of vacation in April (which starts the 9th and finishes the 26th).  I have finished 5 out of 7 books, I'm going to start the last required one today and the seventh (optional) afterwards.  (If you haven't already read "Waiting for Godot" I really recommend it, it's unbelievably funny.)
I had a great weekend in London with friends except that my camera died, but too bad I still have my memories.  The city was beautiful, but hey, not Paris!
I think that I'm going to be a bit different of a person when I return home...the idea of being in a country where the people only speak English doesn't really please me.  The only problem is that I miss my family and I only have a visa/carte de séjour for 6 months.
Concerning the carte de séjour...what a process!  Really bizarre this thing.  I arrived at 8:05 AM for a meeting at 8:30AM, already a pretty long line, then I waited in more lines, I waited for everyone (including Godot!) and now I have a little yellow thing (the card) and an x-ray.  But, I like that it's different than home at least.  (That is to say, for going to the doctor's!)
